Full Version: T48G Change Hold Tone

We have some T48G's at a client's office and I have setup them up so that it beeps if the call is on "Hold" for more than 30 seconds. The client has asked if we can make it ring like an incoming call instead of just the beep. Is that possible? Can we change the actual "tone" or .wav file used for the hold tone?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Klaus,
The hold music is not what I am trying to change. When a call is placed on hold by hitting the "Hold" button on the phone, it beeps after 30 seconds of inactivity. Instead of beeping we would like for it to actually play a ringtone like a phone ringing. I don't believe this is the same Hold Music. Also, the above link did not work.

Thanks.

Hi Nick,

The way we do it at Telpeer.com is as follows, we have the Csr "park" the call and we program from our side that there should be a ring back after a certain amount of time, according to the Csr request.

All the best,
Abe
