I have a customer that is using T26 phones with Freepbx 2.12 in Device and user mode. It has worked for some time just using the codes from Asterisk to change the User for the phone. It has become more of an issue for them to tell who is logged into the phone. So, I am looking for a way to actually re-provision the phone IE: change the username on the screen, the button configs, etc. All without rebooting the phone, since they have their PC connected to the phone. Is this possible??

do you mean you want to chage the user name form "user" to others?

if yes,you can use auto provisioning function to do this,the sentence as below:

security.user_name.user
