I just installed our Cudatel 370 with 46G phones. The system pushes out Yealink FW 28.71.0.182 for reference here. For some reason a BLF button will begin to flash RED on a phone at any time. When I check the extension that button is programmed to, it's just sitting idle. If you press the red flashing button it calls the station normally and then goes back to green when you hang up. strange. Any thoughts or past experience?
hi ,

but the firmware you use seems really old, would you please try to upgrade to the newest firmware and reset to try again , firmware download link:

Michael,
Thanks for getting back to me. The folks at Barracuda support told me that their system will continue to overwrite the FW with the old version so they can maintain a baseline for troubleshooting and known bugs. They are working on a new version of FW for the Cudatel that will contain a new version of the Yealink FW. I'll either wait for that to happen or figure out how to setup a TFTP server here on my network and have the phones grab their config that way instead of the Auto-provisioning on the Cudatel.

Thanks,
PK
Michael,
Barracuda issued a FW upgrade to their Cudatel 370 and it comes bundled with Yealink FW 28.80.70. So now that all of our phones are on this version, we are still see the random blinking red light on an idle station's BLF button.
you are missing a digit in the firmware - is it 28.80.0.70?
sorry - yes it is
looks like the recommended is higher.
its a tough situtation when the pbx people restrict the firmware but bugs are found in the firmware...
