Full Version: T46 EHS problem

Our customer have several T46 with EHS and Jabra 920 headsets

But the phones keep answering and hanging up every few seconds, without the user touching the headset or the phone.

This happens all the time the EHS is connected and make the phones totally unusable.


Equipment
Yealink T46G - Firmware 28.73.193.50
Yealink 5V 2A PSU
Yealink EHS - Firmware 3.16.0.0
Jabra 920 Headset

The headset is connected to the phone as described in the user guide, with the cables provided.

Can you please let the customer try upgrading phone to latest firmware.

Updating the firmware diden't help at all.

The problem was probably seemed to be electric crosstalk from power cables to their PDS network cables.

I installed a grounded switch near the phones and that solved the problem.

Apparently the Yealink Phone/EHS is very sensitive to electric crosstalk.
