After upgrading my Yealink SIP-T22P to firmware 7.72.0.25, click-to-dial no longer worked. The command sent was:

http://192.168.17.12/servlet?number=1401...going_uri=

The phone display remained unchanged.
The web response from the phone was "200 OK".
The phone ignored the command and would not initiate a call as if the "Action URI allow IP List" had not been set properly. I confirmed this was set properly and looked for any other settings to enable remote control. I'm aware you have to confirm to allow remote control at the phone on the first try.

I downgraded to firmware 7.71.0.140 and click-to-dial worked again as expected. I'm sure the firmware was regression tested, so I'm puzzled why this didn't respond as expected. Any ideas?

Thanks!
Hi psichel,

Please use the right syntax.

I have tried the following but outgoing call is not happening:

https://90.90.90.242/servlet?key=number=...dmin:admin

Using Following Phone details
Phone Version : T20P
Firmware Version 9.72.0.25
Hardware Version 7.0.1.61

Please suggest.
I am using a T28
Firmware Version 2.71.0.140
Hardware Version 1.0.0.39

I too was unsuccessful at using the Remote Control to dial from my computers browser.

I believe that the key issue with my situation was in what Yealink calls the "outgoing_uri=" portion of the servlet string placed in my computers browser.

The Yealink Manual is very light on what should go here as the "outgoing_uri=" value.
It is more like non-existent.

So I tried several different values and discovered that I can use the "Register Name" or the "User Name" in the Account setting area of the phone.
In my case, they are both the same. Yours may be different.

So the string I use in my computers browser is like this:
http://192.168.111.104/servlet?key=numbe...g_uri=2002

Where 2003 is the number that I am calling/dialing to and 2002 is the "Register Name" or the "User Name" of the Account I want to use in my phone.

As the Manual states, a Pop Up will appear and you do need to enter a password the very first time that you use it.

I know that you have a different phone, but this may help you and maybe some others too.
