I would like to know if the T22p supports custom ringtones loaded at call time from an http server. I have added an Alert-Info string as follows <http://freepbx.example.com/ringtones/test.wav>; I can see through a network monitor that the .wav file is uploaded to the phone OK but does not play as a Ringtone. Can this be done and if so what is the correct syntax.
Hi RPCarter,

1. Please refer to admin guide of T2X for different version.

2. Rings priority: personal ringtone in directory > group ringtone in directory > sip parameter specifies the bell ring (Alert-info)> account default ringtone
Thank you for the quick response. I have changed my Alert-Info message to "<http://freepbx.example/ringtones/test.wav>;info=DoorBell" and the test.wav file is in fact a standard sound file from FreePBX < 100k. I still get ringing rather than the sound file played! Any thoughts on why this might be or how I can analyse the issue further? Note if I put "http://freepbx.example/ringtones/test.wav" in a browser on my PC the sound file plays as expected.
