Full Version: Plantronics Savi 740 w/T46G Outgoing Gain Too Loud

I'm testing wireless headset for use with a T46G. The first I have tried is a Plantronics Savi 740. The headset works well when paired to Bluetooth, so I'm fairly sure it's working correctly.

When using the headset with a T46G and the EHS36 adapter, the incoming audio is fine, but the outgoing audio (that people I call hear) is extremely loud. I have the gain on the headset base set as low as it can go, 1.

Plantronics tech support troubleshot the issue, but said there is nothing they can do to lower the outgoing gain.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Thanks!
hi Bryan

thanks for your information

for this request , you can adjust below parameter through auto provision feature:

voice.headset_send =
//It configures the sending volume of the headset. value range Integer from -50 to 50
Note: We recommend that you modify this parameter cautiously. An unreasonable value may render the voice quality bad.//

for how to finish the auto provision , please refer to the auto provision guide download from below link :

Thanks for the reply.

Can this be changed via the web interface? Our phones are provisioned through a cloud provider, so I'm not sure we can tweak individual settings locally.
Solved this issue by switching to a Jabra Pro 9450. Perfect right out of the box!
