On the T38G, is there currently an option to extend the configured dialplan replace rules to calls placed directly from the history? The goal is to insert the dial-out digit in front of the phone number provided by caller-ID:

Code:
dialplan.replace.prefix.3 = (xxxxxxxxxx)
dialplan.replace.replace.3 = 8$1

This only works when dialing the number manually.
Hi ctc,

Sorry. It is a different mechanism in those two ways.

Is there any alternative method to modify these numbers as they are dialed, or as they are stored in the history?

If not on the T38G, do any other Yealink models provide this?
Hi ctc,

1. Yes. The call log can be stored in history and you can disable to dispaly call log.
For T38G, enter the webpage->Phone->Features->General Information, disabled "Save Call Log" option.

2. You can also edit the phone number in history.
Press history when the phone is idle->choose the number->press OK button->press "Edit" soft key, then you can configure the number when you want to call out.

I was hoping to find a way to automate this step so the user would not have to edit numbers manually to redial missed/received calls, but thank you for the help on this.
one of the options is to get rid of the dialout digit, when we upgraded our system to voip, I got rid of the dial 9 for a outside line. it was the best decision we ever did, one less number to dial.
