Full Version: Paging to W52P from 3cx extension

I have my W52P extensions configured to auto answer intercom calls from other extensions via my 3cx PBX but the W52P handsets do not go to speakerphone or beep like they do when using the intercom feature on the handset between W52P handsets. Is there any way to configure the phones to do that? If not, is that a feature that someday may be added?

Intercom is a useful feature in an office environment to quickly connect with the operator
or the secretary. You can make internal intercom calls and external intercom calls on the
phone. Internal intercom calls are made between handsets registered to the same base
station. External intercom calls can be made by dialing the feature access code
followed by the number. External intercom calls depend on support from a SIP server .
The handset can automatically answer an incoming external intercom call and play
warning tone only when there is only one handset subscribed and no call in progress on
the handset.

To automatically answer an incoming internal intercom call, you need to enable auto
intercom feature on the handset . The following configuration types of auto intercom
feature are available for selection:
On (Beep On): Auto intercom feature is on. The handset will answer an incoming
internal intercom call automatically a nd play a warning tone.
On (Beep Off): Auto intercom feature is on. The handset will answer an incoming
internal intercom call automatically without warning tone.
Off: Auto intercom feature is off. You need to answer an incoming internal intercom call by pressing the Accept soft key .
I have the external intercom working, but it does not answer the intercom on speakerphone. How can I make it answer the intercom through the speakerphone?
Sorry. It will ring via speaker if you use intercom feature. But you need to talk via handset after you answered the call.
If the phone cant answer External intercom call on speaker phone. why would you call it an intercom if no one within inches from phone can hear the caller speaking.

yealink needs to make this feature functional.
It should have option to auto answer via speaker phone

I have tested this case on V73 beta version and it does work well. So please upgrade the firmware to the V73 and try again. You can get the firmware from below links:
W52P_Base Commercial version: 25.73.0.20
W52P_Base Broadsoft version: 25.73.193.5

W52P_Handset Commercial version: 26.73.0.10
W52P_Handset Broadsoft version: 26.73.193.2

Which version is compatible with 3cx? I assume Commercial, but I have not seen 3cx release it themselves. What can you tell us about that?
W52P don't have a specific version for 3CX. Commercial firmware can work with 3CX. Just upgrade to latest commercial firmware.

I can confirm the commercial version (v73) work well with 3CX.

Are you saying that with v73 firmware paging to speaker of the W52P works from another extension via 3cx paging? I have used the Yealink paging between W52P extensions between each other just within that Yealink group on the base station but not via 3cx server. Please elaborate.
