I remember Yealink staff talking about adding WiFi support for the Yealink T48G phone as early as 2014.
Now we're in 2016 - will the phone soon support Wifi natively, or with a USB Wifi dongle?

I've tried a few and none of them work. Can you please be more specific on the brand / model that you tried
It is a specific USB dongle similar to the BT40, not just anyone will work.
I have on in my T48 and seems to work great, only downside is 2.4GHz only no 5Ghz.
I know this is in a "Beta" stage, once i get back to the office i will check what the PN is and maybe you can get one from your distributor.
