120x T46G (FW 28.73.0.48 / 3CX 12 sp6.1)

Every so often a user reports the phone is "rebooting at random". It seems to reboot (crash?) when the device receives a new IP from a DHCP server. I am using 2x 2008 R2 WinDNS servers with ip helper.

Anyone else run into this or have any suggestions?

thanks.
Do you mean that when the phone get a new IP address, the phone will reboot? Why the phone will get new IP address? Is there something occur about the network environment? Please tell me more info about this issue.

There is the latest firmware: http://support.yealink.com/attachmentDow...0.0.70.zip
You can try to upgrade one or two phones to do a test.

Karl,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes the phone will reboot when it gets a new IP (when the lease duration is up). Unfortunately I have tried to recreate force lease expiration with no reboot. It does appear to be random. The T46Gs are powered over PoE. No root cause from the switch logs.

I could update firmware but it's to my understanding 3CX supports up to 28.73.0.48??

thanks
Hi,

You can try to upgrade, the latest firmware can support 3CX.
