Hello,

I would like to ask if the 2.5 headset port supports stereo headsets with microphone.

My headset has a jack like this

with three black lines across the jack, indicating that has one channel for each ear and one for microphone.

I would like to ask you to explain me the image that you have posted.

I am asking this because my headset has a 3.5mm and I will use an adaptor for 3.5mm to 2.5mm.

I get the wiring of the 2.5 pin but why there is also the wiring for a 3.5mm plug?
