I added a couple phones to an existing setup. There are currently about 20 phones on the network. All the new phones come with new firmware v73

The phones are all t26p/t28p. All the old phones are on a vlan. The new phones when plugged in get a dhcp from the data network then proceed to the voice vlan. So now i have phones with the wrong ip on the right network.

If I upgrade any of the old phones to the new firmware they stop working.

here are the settings... This is driving me nuts as i've done pcaps and messed with switch settings and just can't get the new firmware phones to pull the right ip's.

I have another customer i'd like to upgrade the firmware on too but can't until I figure this out. I know these phones are end of life but I still have to support a few hundred of them until the customers upgrade.

The customer has had this existing network configuration for the last 3 years and the only variable is the firmware.

V73
network.vlan.internet_port_enable = 1
network.vlan.internet_port_vid = 52
network.vlan.internet_port_priority = 0
network.vlan.pc_port_enable = 0
network.vlan.pc_port_vid = 0
network.vlan.pc_port_priority = 0
network.vlan.dhcp_enable =
network.vlan.dhcp_option =

v70
network.vlan.internet_port_enable = 1
network.vlan.internet_port_vid = 52
network.vlan.internet_port_priority = 0
network.vlan.pc_port_enable = 0
network.vlan.pc_port_vid = 0
network.vlan.pc_port_priority = 0
hi

would you please try to disable the LLDP features on the V73 firmware ?

for more details , you can refer to the FAQ below :

http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=175

the auto provision sentence for it is :

network.lldp.enable = 0
