Full Version: obtaining the IP address

I bought 2 phones from vonage but i want to use them for my free PBX server in house, and when i reset the Yealink T21E2 to factory default it is not obtaining the IP address can someone help.

What's the phone firmware?
Please diable LLDP feature and check again, if it doesn't work try a static ip.

it might be that DHCP has not been enabled on your router or that the cable you are using has a bad connection.
if you don't know how to change the settings in your router, you might want to try to give the phones a fixed ip-address.
