Given that the beep bleep beep happens again when I pickup and dial im making an assumption that the answer is yes beings there is no real way to confirm that.

It looks like the headset goes on standby on my end. I am saying this because it does not appear the headset is consuming that much battery (as before). Anyway, it would be good to get confirmation from Yealink.
Hi all,
Yes. The headset should be stand by when the call is end.
Thanks you guys for your great Help! I am going to go with this as since i've done the firmware downgrade on my phone the headset seams to be working great!
Is the custom rom interoperable with Broadsoft? I am having the same issue with T46G where several tested Bluetooth headsets battery last 3 hrs max. Current rom on T46G is 28.71.193.8
Sorry. Current not. But we will solve this issue in V73.
In the "Tested headset list compatible with yealink ip phone" PDF attached earlier in this post, it has a section for "Tested Bluetooth Headset list compatible with Yealink IP Phone". It says the only compatible phone is the SIP-T46G. I'm assuming the T48G is also compatible too, right?
Sorry. It is the old file not including T48G. Yes. T48G is also compatible with those headsets.
Thanks, also can I pair the Plantronics Savi W740 with my Yealink SIP-T48G with the BT40 Bluetooth Dongle without having to plug the base station into the phone?
I think Plantronics Savi W740 should connect with EHS36 and T48G.
So please use EHS36( wireless headset adapter) to connect T48G and Plantronics Savi W740 .
EHS36 User Guide
I am currently using firmware v28.72.0.25 and a Plantronics Voyager Legend.

When I make or receive a call, I can hear the caller fine but all they hear is static from my side. I do not have another bluetooth to test it with but I don't have this problem with the other phones I have paired so I can only assume that it is caused by the Yealink. Is anyone else having this issue on this firmware release? It was perfectly fine before I upgraded, aside from the headset battery drain.
