Hello everyone!

I have a Yealink SIP T22p and I need to see the caller ID from other extension when it's ringing to know if I pick up the call or not.

Does Yealink have this feature?

Best regards.
Hi flavio.viana,

Yes. Wwe support this feature. You can choose Caller ID Source type from webpage.
Take the latest version V71 for example:
Enter webpage->Account->Advanced, find Caller ID Source, then choose FROM or PAI or other types as you want.
Hello Yealink Support!

Thanks for your quick replying, but I think I need to be more specific. Let me give you an example. I have 2 Yealink's T22p phone (with no Expansion Module), one is the boss and the other is secretary. When someone call secretary's Yealink, the boss want to see the caller id and decide to pick up or not. This 'Find Caller Id Source' is the thing that will help us or is other thing?

Best regards!
Hi flavio.viana,

Thanks for the specific. I think the feature of "Visual Alert and Audio Alert for BLF Pickup" can fit your needs.

Visual and audio alert for BLF pickup allow the supervisor’s phone to play an alert tone
and display a visual prompt (e.g., "6001<-6002", 6001 is the monitored extension which
receives an incoming call from 6002) when the monitored user receives an incoming call.

You can refer to more details in admin guide from page 139 to 143.

Good afternoon Yealink Support!

Big thanks to all your help, we are so close to obtain the answer.

Let me explain the situation: we configured the 2 Yealinks as you said and we have some success. Now the phone with extension 7779 can pick up the call made to extension 7776. The problem is: when 7776 ring, only the green LED of extension 7779 pulse, so 7779 know that 7776 is ringing, then, he can pick the call if want to.

But our dilemma is the 7779 need to see the caller id that is calling 7776, not only the green light pulsing.

There is something more that we can do?
Hi flavio.viana ,

I know your need and advise you to use BLF feature.
1. Upgrade your firmware to the latest version x.71.0.165
2. Then please set the phone as the steps in admin guide from 139 to 143.

Please enable "Visual Alert for BLF Pickup".

Hi flavio.viana,

1. Which PBX do you use now?
2. I use asterik 11.8.1.0 andvisual alert and audio alert feature can work well.
Please supply me syslog level 6, config.bin and pcap.
Before you export the syslog, please set log level as 6, and reboot the phone, then click Start, and reproduce the issue, then click Stop, and export the trace, syslog, config, bin to us.
(About where to export these files, please refer to attached screenshot.)
These three files are very important for us, hope you can kindly understand.

Hi flavio.viana,

It seems that you need to check the settings of your Asterisk server.
Please contact with asterisk support for help.
