Because we need the repeater functionality we downloaded the latest firmware:
http://www.yealink.com/Upload/W52P/V40/26.30.0.50.zip
and flash software:
http://www.yealink.com/Upload/W52P/V40/H...20Tool.zip
We then tried to upgrade several W52 handsets, it only succeeded at one of them. The current firmware of one that failed to update is: 26.30.188.14
We also tried it on different base stations with firmware: 25.30.0.50 en 25.30.0.53
Still the popup-error remains when flashing the firmware: OEM version check disaffinity, skip update.
Please advice.

Your handset version 26.30.188.14 can support repeater now. You don't need to update your version and can use repeater now.

What about that error, is it normal or can we do something about it?
Besides, now I have 1 handset on the new firmware and 4 on a lower one. I would like them all to be on the new firmware as it also solves some other problems.
I've got the same error, how do I upgrade to newer versions ? Or where do I find the oem versions ?
I only noticed the message when I wanted to upgrade through usb, the web does't give any error.

What is the version of your handset? Do you mean when you upgrade handset via webpage, you can upgrade successfully?
I advise you to find higher custom version from your distributor.
I'm egale problem, it's the handset ship with Base, it's in 26.40.115.1 it's OEM ( brad YeaLink ) and it's refuse to upgrade to 26.50.0.20, in Web never see news firmare ( other handset no problem ) and with USB OEM message.

I have the same problem...
We have a W52 BASE, which Firmware is now "25.73.0.40", and it uses 5 devices.
Today, I try to update all devices, but I could only upload 4 devices, and with the fifth, I could not!
The problematic device's ROM is "26.40.188.1", and I try to upload to "26.73.0.11".
