I am running Asterisk 11.2-cert2 on FreePBX 2.11, where I understand a 20ms a packetization time is default. What is the effect on call quality if I disable ptime negotiation?
Ptime gives the length of time in milliseconds represented by the media in a packet.
When you have a call, the ptime should be the same with both callers.
If you disable ptime, a call may drop or other cases.
