Full Version: DNS SRV not working on T46G

I'm having some issues with DNS SRV on my T46G. If I do
nslookup -type=SRV _sip._udp.XXXX.XXXX.com

and
nslookup -type=SRV _sip._tcp.XXXX.XXXX.com

From my laptop I am getting the right entries back. But the phones won't register to the right server. They are trying to register to the A record computer.

I have transport set to DNS-NAPTR in the phones.

Is there a way to diagnose what they are doing? Is there some other setting I need to fill in?

Oct 7 01:13:13 sua [528]: DNS <6+info > [SIP] Query result: status=0
Oct 7 01:13:13 sua [528]: DNS <6+info > [SIP] A record: 67.159.168.41/60
Oct 7 01:13:13 sua [528]: DNS <6+info > [SIP] Add record: new record XXXX.XXXX.com

I just found this in the phone logs... It looks like it's not even getting the DNS SRV records.

Found the problem, not exactly a problem with yealink phones, but my provisioning server.

However, I'm not sure why Yealink decided that Port 0 was the right way to do DNS SRV. Very annoying.
Did you ever get anywhere with this? I seem to be having a similar problem.

On my 46G I can't get my SRV support working either. DNS NAPTR isn't the same.
